Expoacre 2026 in Rio Branco, Acre, will host a mass collective wedding ceremony for 300 couples. The event, organized by the Court of Justice of Acre (TJ-AC), aims to allow couples, particularly those in vulnerable situations, to officially legalize their unions. The ceremony is scheduled for August 7th at 5 PM, during the Arena de Shows at the Wildy Viana Exhibition Park, and is set to be one of the highlights of the fair, which concludes on August 9th. Registration is open until July 6th at the Organização em Centros de Atendimento (OCA) in downtown Rio Branco, operating from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Interested couples must present specific documentation, issued within the last six months. For single couples, this includes original birth certificates, proof of address, RG, and CPF. Divorced couples need their original birth certificate with divorce annotation, a copy of the divorce decree detailing asset division, proof of address, RG, and CPF. Minors between 16 and 18 years old require an original birth certificate, proof of address, and the presence of parents with their identification, or consent from a legal guardian if parents are deceased or absent. The collective wedding is a free service designed for couples who cannot afford standard registry office fees and celebration costs. All submitted documents must be recent, issued no more than six months prior to the application.
