Brazilian 'Ken Doll' Influencer Recovers After Squeezing Zit Leads to Facial Infection

Brazilian influencer Willian Silva, known as 'Ken de CG,' has shown significant improvement after being hospitalized in Campo Grande for a facial infection. The infection originated from squeezing a pimple in his mustache area on July 16th. By the following day, his face had become severely swollen, and the infection rapidly spread across his face, nearing his eyes, which necessitated his hospitalization. Silva reported that the swelling has reduced by nearly 100%, with only a slight edema remaining on his upper lip. He shared before-and-after photos illustrating the progression of his condition, showing intense swelling around his mouth, cheeks, and eyes, which has now largely subsided. The influencer gained public attention by using social media to warn his followers about the dangers of manipulating pimples and inflamed hairs. Dermatologists refer to the area between the eyebrows and the corners of the mouth as the 'danger triangle of the face.' This region has blood vessels that can easily spread infections to deeper structures, including the brain. Experts advise against squeezing inflamed facial lesions and recommend seeking medical attention for severe pain, redness, fever, swelling near the eyes, or persistent headaches, as these can indicate complications.
