Electrician Aurélio Rosa has garnered attention in Goiás, Brazil, for driving a Tesla Cybertruck. Rosa, a technology enthusiast residing in Anápolis, purchased the futuristic vehicle about a year and a half ago in Texas, USA. He imported two units, gifting one to his mother, Lucimar Campos, who uses it for her honey production business in Jaraguá. Each Cybertruck cost R$ 1.35 million. In Brazil, the Cybertruck is classified as a truck, requiring a specific driver's license. Rosa has been using the vehicle for ride-sharing services as a way to engage with people and discuss the car's technology in a relaxed manner. He also showcases the Cybertruck on social media, featuring it at waterfalls and on rural roads. Originally from Anápolis, Rosa's career path led him through São Paulo and Europe, where he completed his electrical engineering degree and worked at BMW. He then moved to the United States, spending nearly a decade at Tesla before returning to Brazil. His goal is to share his expertise in sustainable mobility through practical projects and lectures, making advanced technology more accessible to the local population.
