Expoacre 2026: Artist applications for alternative stages close Thursday

Local artists in Rio Branco have until 4 PM on Thursday, June 30th, to submit applications for the alternative stages at Expoacre 2026. The Elias Mansour Culture Foundation (FEM) is organizing the selection process, aiming to choose bands, musicians, DJs, and dance groups for 68 performances across the Culturarte and Sertanejo stages. Interested artists can apply online via email or in person at the FEM headquarters. Expoacre 2026 officially begins on Saturday, July 1st, with the traditional Cavalgada and runs until July 9th at the Wildy Viana Exhibition Park. The event will feature daily activities from 6 PM to 3 AM. To apply, artists must submit a completed form and a portfolio demonstrating their artistic experience, which can include photos, videos, and music. The Culturarte stage is open to DJs, vocal and instrumental artists with up to four members, acoustic bands with four or more members, and dance groups of at least four participants, covering genres like MPB, samba, axé, rock, pop, jazz, fitdance, street dance, hip-hop, jazz, and forró. The Sertanejo stage welcomes DJs, vocal and instrumental artists with up to four members, and bands with five or more members, focusing on country, sertanejo, and related styles. The FEM will not provide parking or food for artists, and selected performers will receive details about their performance schedules and compensation following a meeting with the organizing committee. The Expoacre security plan includes approximately 200 agents and 100 private security professionals per night, with 41 facial recognition cameras. Entry will be prohibited for individuals with firearms, bladed weapons, coolers, and glass bottles. Those on semi-open or provisional release will be restricted to a 500-meter radius, and minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, while those aged 16-18 can attend unaccompanied but must leave by midnight.
