Influencer Virginia Fonseca Buys Apartment in Neymar's Building Amid Past Dispute

Influencer Virginia Fonseca has purchased an apartment in a building popularly known as 'Neymar's building' in Itapema, Santa Catarina. The building's name stems from the football player's company owning the land and co-owning the construction firm. Fonseca's new unit will be located on the floor directly above Neymar's. The Edify One building, standing 140 meters tall with 41 apartments, is situated opposite Meia Praia beach and is scheduled for completion in December 2028. It remains unclear whether Fonseca intends to reside in the apartment or acquire it as an investment. However, if she chooses to live there, she could become neighbors with Bruna Biancardi, Neymar's partner, with whom Fonseca had a public disagreement several months prior. The dispute reportedly arose after Fonseca made late-night calls to Neymar, prompting Biancardi to question why a married woman was calling another married man at 2 AM. At the time, Fonseca was married to Zé Felipe, from whom she separated in May 2025. Fonseca later apologized for her actions, explaining in an interview that the calls were related to a charity auction hosted by Neymar, which she ultimately did not attend in June 2025. She acknowledged her habit of making calls or sending messages late at night as a mistake and apologized. Biancardi, however, countered Fonseca's account in a social media comment, suggesting the issue was not isolated and that Fonseca had previously displayed a lack of decorum and manners within her home, contradicting her online persona.
