Madrassa Teachers and Staff Must Provide Specific Information for EFT Salary Payments

The Directorate of Madrasha Education has announced that all enrolled teachers and staff in institutions under its purview will now receive their salaries and allowances through the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) system directly into their bank accounts. This initiative is part of the government's G2P (Government-to-Person) program. To facilitate this transition, all relevant personnel are required to update their information by August 31st using a prescribed form. The form mandates the inclusion of the madrassa's name and EIIN number, along with the principal's or supervisor's mobile number to initiate the process. Crucially, teachers and staff must provide their index numbers in English, prefixed as per the MPO sheet. All submitted information must precisely match their National Identity Cards (NID). Discrepancies between NID details and the provided information will result in the inability to receive salaries via EFT. The required details for the form include applicant's name in both English and Bengali, father's and mother's names in both languages, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the NID number. It is emphasized that the date of birth on the NID, MPO copy, and Dakhil/equivalent certificate must be identical. The NID number should be 10 or 17 digits; if the NID is 13 digits, the birth year's four digits must be prepended to make it 17 digits. A mobile number registered with the applicant's own NID is mandatory. Other essential information includes designation, subject (or 'Null' if not applicable), salary code, joining date, and the date of the first MPO, all in English and DD/MM/YYYY format. Bank details required are the bank's name, branch name, account holder's name (as per NID), digital bank account number, and the branch's routing number. The form requires certification of accuracy by the applicant and the head of the institution, with attachments including photocopies of the NID, first and last MPO, and the cover page of the bank checkbook. The names must match across the NID and Dakhil/equivalent certificates.
