Malian Armed Forces Inflict Heavy Losses on Terrorist Groups in Kékoro and Domba

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa), with the support of their partners, have conducted operations resulting in significant losses for terrorist groups in the Kékoro and Domba areas. The General Staff of the Armies announced that during routine surveillance and security operations, FAMa identified a major terrorist hideout in the Kékoro forest, located in the Bougouni region. Following confirmation of the target, a military operation was launched. This operation led to the neutralization of 25 terrorists and the destruction of their logistical base. Additionally, 15 suspects were apprehended, and a significant quantity of arms and ammunition was seized. The FAMa also recovered stolen goods and vehicles. In a separate but related operation in the Domba forest, FAMa forces engaged another terrorist group, neutralizing 10 members and seizing weapons. The recovered items included assault rifles, explosives, and communication equipment. These operations underscore the ongoing efforts by the Malian army to combat terrorism and restore security across the nation. The FAMa stated their commitment to continuing these operations until the country is fully secured.
