Man Hospitalized After Concrete Attack During Speaker Dispute in Rorainópolis

A 52-year-old man sustained head injuries after being assaulted with a piece of concrete during an argument over a speaker in Rorainópolis, southern Roraima. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, the 28th, at the home of the suspect's father. The 38-year-old suspect allegedly struck the victim on the head with the concrete. The victim had gone to the suspect's father's house to demand an explanation for a missing speaker, accusing the suspect of theft. However, he later found the speaker at his own home, which reportedly led to the confrontation. The suspect's mother informed the police that both individuals appeared intoxicated during the altercation. She also revealed that the suspect has a history of similar incidents, with his parents being the victims. Fearing further aggression, the family reportedly hides knives and sharp objects when he is present. The victim suffered a laceration to his head and pain in his right shoulder, and was taken to the hospital by relatives. Police searched the area but could not locate the suspect. The case has been registered as intentional bodily harm.
