Mysterious Deaths of US-based Family in Lahore: Police Await Reports

Police in Lahore are investigating the mysterious deaths of a woman, identified as Aleena, and her three children, Rehan (16), Aresha (11), and Arsal (6). The family, who had recently returned to Pakistan from the United States, were discovered deceased in their rented Valencia Town home two days prior to the report. Aleena's husband, Nasir Dogar, was taken into custody for questioning and subsequently released after providing his statement on Saturday. Dogar stated he found his wife and children unconscious upon returning from the market. He also mentioned that his wife had been experiencing mental health issues for three to four years and had been undergoing treatment for the past six months. According to Dogar, his wife was conscious when he arrived home and claimed the children had gone to watch a movie with a relative before her condition worsened. He reported that she later lost consciousness and died, while the children's bodies were found in a separate room. Preliminary inquiries suggest the possibility that the woman may have administered poison to the children before taking her own life. However, investigators are considering all angles and have not reached a definitive conclusion.
