Nurse Cristiane Aparecida de Oliveira Dies in Truck Collision in Juiz de Fora

Cristiane Aparecida de Oliveira, a 46-year-old nurse, tragically died following a collision between her motorcycle and a truck on the AMG-3085 highway in Juiz de Fora, Brazil, on Friday, March 3rd. According to her brother, Charles Robert de Oliveira, Cristiane was en route to her shift at Hospital Regional João Penido when the accident occurred. She was described as a dedicated worker, a loving mother, and a supportive sister. Charles highlighted Cristiane's early assumption of responsibilities within the family, caring for her younger siblings while their mother worked. Professionally, she was a committed nurse, beginning her career at Santa Casa and later working for many years at Hospital João Penido, primarily in the pediatrics department. To supplement her income, Cristiane also prepared savory cakes for events. Despite witnessing the births of many nieces and nephews throughout her career, Cristiane faced personal challenges in her journey to motherhood. After experiencing the loss of a daughter and undergoing numerous attempts, she eventually welcomed her son, Calebe, who is now 10 years old. Cristiane was a single mother raising Calebe with the support of her family. She was rescued alive after the accident but succumbed to her injuries, including significant blood loss and a fractured left leg, at the Hospital de Pronto Socorro. Her funeral took place on Sunday, March 5th, at the Municipal Cemetery.
