A spontaneous act of kindness by photographer Elvis Amorim has brought joy to a newlywed couple in Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Lorayne Canachiro, 21, and Paulo Sérgio de Souza, 20, had just been married on July 3rd and decided to take some informal photos with their parents using their cellphones at the city's central roundabout, a local landmark. While they were posing, Amorim, who happened to be passing by, was moved by the scene and decided to offer them a complimentary professional photoshoot. Amorim stated that he felt compelled to give back to the community after overcoming his own financial challenges as an entrepreneur. Initially, the couple was skeptical, thinking he might be trying to sell them his services, but their doubts were dispelled when he delivered the free photos the next day. The heartwarming encounter was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media, garnering over 210,000 views and 30,000 likes. Both the couple and the photographer expressed surprise at the widespread attention the video received. Amorim hopes the incident inspires others to perform acts of kindness. For Souza, the experience was a divine confirmation and a moment of profound gratitude. The couple's meeting itself has a unique story, with Canachiro having lived in Japan for ten years before returning to Brazil and meeting Souza at a church event. Their relationship progressed quickly, leading to their wedding. Tangará da Serra has recorded 312 marriages so far in 2024, ranking sixth in the state for official unions.
