Rio Grande do Norte Electoral Court Begins Summoning Poll Workers for 2026 Elections

The Regional Electoral Court of Rio Grande do Norte (TRE-RN) has commenced the process of summoning poll workers, known as mesários, for the upcoming 2026 Elections. These convocations will continue until August 5th. The TRE-RN is utilizing its official and verified WhatsApp channel to send out these messages to registered poll workers. Unlike previous elections where messages originated from individual Electoral Zones, all communications for the 2026 elections will be sent exclusively from the toll-free number 0800 084 6464. The first round of the 2026 Elections is scheduled for October 4th. Upon receiving the WhatsApp message, poll workers can access their official 'Poll Worker Convocation Letter' by clicking a link and entering their four-digit birth year. This letter contains all necessary personal information and details important notices and benefits. The letter also specifies the date for mandatory in-person or virtual training sessions, which will cover essential information for election day operations, including the use of electronic voting machines and the overall electoral process. Poll workers can also confirm their participation or request a waiver with justification through the TSE's Electoral Self-Service portal or the E-Título application. If the convocation letter is not accessed, the Electoral Registry Office may follow up via phone call or message. Training materials may also be available through the 'Mesários' app on Google Play and the App Store. In the first round, voters in Rio Grande do Norte will elect the President of the Republic, Governor and Vice-Governor, two Senators, one State Deputy, and one Federal Deputy.
