Rondônia Opens 2,600 Free Training Spots with R$2,400 Stipend

The state of Rondônia, Brazil, has launched the "Programa Vencer" initiative, offering 2,600 free professional qualification courses. Applications opened on July 23rd and will run until August 23rd, with selections based on priority criteria and registration order. The program targets individuals in social vulnerability, providing a R$2,400 stipend paid in 12 monthly installments of R$200, contingent on class attendance. Participants who complete the courses with at least 75% attendance will receive a certificate and a professional equipment kit. Eligibility requires residency in Rondônia, a minimum age of 16, and current registration in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) database. Notably, 40% of the spots are reserved for low-income individuals, and another 40% are designated for priority groups, including people with disabilities, recyclable material collectors, single mothers, and women who are victims of violence. The courses, with durations ranging from 160 to 400 hours, will be held in person at Senai and Senac facilities across the state, covering diverse fields such as beauty, gastronomy, construction, mechanics, and management. The final results are expected by December 5th.
