St. Gregory's High School to Host National Innovative Carnival on August 21-22

St. Gregory's High School and College is organizing the 4th National Innovative Carnival, scheduled for August 21 and 22. Hosted by the Gregorian Innovation Club, the event will operate under the slogan 'Innovation Ignites Beyond the Horizon.' The carnival features five competitive categories: Kids Group (Nursery-KG), Primary Group (Classes 1-2), Junior Group (Classes 3-5), Intermediate Group (Classes 6-8), and Senior Group (Classes 9-12). While the Kids and Primary groups are exclusive to St. Gregory's students, the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior groups are open to participants from any school or college. Students can showcase their talents through various formats, including individual competitions, online submissions, open contests, team events, and flagship challenges. A special segment, '4th AIC Startup Showcase,' is dedicated to encouraging entrepreneurship and creative ventures. This showcase allows current and former Gregorians, parents, teachers, students from other institutions, and aspiring entrepreneurs to exhibit and promote their startups, brands, or products for a stall fee of 2,000 Taka. Participation in the carnival requires registration fees. Individual events cost 100 Taka, with a special 'Solo Events Package' offering entry to any three solo events for 200 Taka, excluding photography, spot the difference, and IQ tests which require separate registration. Additional events beyond the package incur a 50 Taka fee for offline registration and 100 Taka for online registration. Photography competitions have free preliminary rounds, with a 300 Taka fee for selected exhibition photos, which will be framed by the organizers. Spot the Difference and IQ Test events each have a 50 Taka fee and are not included in the solo package. Team events are priced at 100 Taka per member, with a wall magazine competition for three members costing 300 Taka. Other team events like 'The Last Soul' and 'Mini Shark Tank' also have a 300 Taka fee for a three-member team, while 'E-Football' is 200 Taka per person. All participants receive an official participation certificate, and those in the solo package receive an official T-shirt. Winners and top performers will be awarded crests and certificates, with cash prizes for 'The Last Soul' and 'E-Football.' Winners of each segment will receive a copy of the Gregorian Innovation Club's annual magazine. The event will conclude with an award ceremony, with 'Bigyan Chinta' serving as the magazine partner.
