Suspect Arrested in São Paulo for Robbing Influencers Nathalia Valente and Yuri Meirelles

São Paulo Civil Police apprehended a 26-year-old suspect on Wednesday, May 1st, in connection with the robbery of digital influencers Nathalia Valente and Yuri Meirelles. The crime occurred on April 30th in the Vila Mariana neighborhood of São Paulo's South Zone. The arrested individual had an active preventive arrest warrant for robbery and extortion. Investigators believe he was the more aggressive of the two perpetrators and the one who wielded the firearm during the incident. He also has prior convictions for robbery and a history of juvenile offenses. Authorities are actively searching for a second suspect involved in the crime. The robbery took place as the couple and two team members were loading equipment into a car. They were approached by an armed man, followed by a second individual who collected their belongings. The assailants reportedly arrived on motorcycles, and the entire event was captured by security cameras. According to Valente's social media posts, the criminals pointed a gun at Meirelles' head. The stolen items included cell phones, rings, and a recently purchased watch. Nathalia Valente, known for her participation in "A Fazenda" and over 11 million followers, shares lifestyle content. Yuri Meirelles, her husband, is also an influencer with nearly 2 million followers. The couple frequently shares their personal lives, including travel and family moments, online. Valente noted their child was not present during the robbery. Her social media presence is also notable for her extensive collection of pets, including dogs, a cat, a duck, a mini pig, and an alpaca named Zuzu.
