XPeng Begins Small-Scale Production of Humanoid Robot, Mass Production Line Nears Completion

XPeng's humanoid robot has officially commenced small-scale trial production at its Guangzhou factory. Concurrently, the mass production line is undergoing its final integration and testing phase, signaling an imminent countdown to full-scale manufacturing. The company had previously held an internal mobilization meeting for robot mass production, establishing key timelines. XPeng aims to achieve mass production of its humanoid robot by 2026. Subsequently, starting in 2027, these robots are expected to be deployed in XPeng stores globally and in various commercial settings, where they will perform duties such as customer guidance and product explanations. The XPeng robot division leverages the group's integrated capabilities in hardware, large AI models, supply chain management, and marketing. Furthermore, it applies the expertise gained from the automotive business in areas like collaborative hardware and software research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and global channel experience. This systematic application of existing strengths is intended to accelerate the mass production and commercialization of advanced humanoid robots.
